Cellar Sessions: Acrylic Pour & After the Pour, a two part painting class

Time: 630-830P for both sessions; participants will be emailed the Zoom link within 5 days of each class.

Class Description:

Cellar Sessions is our virtual painting classes offered through Zoom. This two part virtual class will begin on September 9th from 630p to 830p by guiding you step by step to create your own acrylic poured masterpiece. We will allow two weeks for your two creations on 8x10 canvas to dry before we continue on to our second class on September 22nd from 630 to 830p. This second Cellar Session will further your knowledge base with how to create a painting on your previously poured creations with use of stencils or independent paintings. 

  Each person will create two (2) fun acrylic poured abstract paintings on 8x10 stretched canvas. We will guide you in this "Science Experiment" to create through the flip cup method and the tree ring method. Enjoy yourself with this two part artistic interactive experience where no two paintings are the same! #artishappiness #makeityourown 

Cellar Session I: The art supplies included for each participant are 

• Art Cellar Houston reusable canvas tote
• Acrylic Pouring Medium
• Rubbing Alcohol 
• Stir Sticks
• Cups to perform the experiment
• Two (2) 8x10 canvas'
• Aluminum Pan (container we use to place the canvas' inside of, in order to perform the experiment)
• Push Pins
• 4 tubes of Acrylic Paint (Your choice of primary, secondary or surprise me colors)

Cellar Session II: The art supplies included for each participant are 

• 2 paintbrushes
• 4 tubes of acrylic paint 
• One paint palette
• One mini wooden easel
• 3 stencils
• tracing paper
