This painting class in Houston provides step-by-step instructions to help you create your own greeting cards with alcohol inks and in collage format. These artistic pieces can be used as greeting cards as abstract pieces of art or completed with a specific scenic design in mind for use. Create gifts for family, friends, or for you to enjoy after you leave our class!
In the first hour, we will explore alcohol inks on Yupo Paper with sponging, creating flowers, and other abstract creations. In the second hour, we will move towards collating with magazines, words of affirmation, and unique visuals to complete our inspirational part of the class.
We create an interactive social environment offering our "Make it your own" motto, where no two paintings are the same!
Breaks are every 30 minutes, to refill and socialize.
Time: 11a-2p, doors open 30 minutes prior!
Registration: Each person must be paid to enter, no unpaid guests allowed. Advance online sign-up only, you will receive an auto-receipt in your email, no need to print out, you will be on the roster!
In the event this group will have to cancel the event, there is no cancellation fee or penalty, as long as the class is scheduled with a replacement date within 3-6 months.
NOTE: This class utilizes Isopropyl Alcohol. Please bring a face mask to wear, if you are sensitive to smells. We will have gloves on hand for your use. Our space is well ventilated and we will leave our doors open during class time.
Supplied: all art materials and tools, floor covers, table covers, aprons, and
excellent art instruction.
