Covid Prevention Policy at Art Cellar Houston

Please be respectful of our decision to have everyone wear a face mask in order to enter our studios.   Our teachers work very hard to provide a safe, clean, and healthy environment for all to feel safe and comfortable. In the words of the fabulous Flippin Patties owner: "No mask, No Magic". 
We will continue to follow the Houston Independent School Districts COVID guidelines maintaining the following requirements in our studios for all as of March 2021:
  • As you arrive, we will check your temperature. Please DO NOT ENTER until a teacher or staff member greets you at the door with the thermometer. Anyone with a temperature of 99.7 (or higher) will not be allowed in our studio. Masks are required of all individuals, and all ages to enter our studios
  • We will show the children how surgeons wash their hands. They will be required to wash their hands in this manner when they arrive, and at any snack breaks. For adults, we request you wash your hands thoroughly when you enter our studios with antibacterial soap and water, found in our restrooms. 
  • The Art Cellar of Houston sanitizes the used aprons after each class or party. 
  • Staff and teachers sanitize the studio completely at the end of each day with a combination of Melaleuca Disinfectant and Thieves Multipurpose Cleaner. 
We are committed to the health and safety of our customers attending any birthday party, art class, or summer camp, but we are not responsible for anyone contracting COVID-19. We will do our best to enhance customer and employee health safety standards.
