What are the ages of children who attend?

Our camp is geared for children ages 6+. We request children ages 6 sign up for half day sessions. Children ages 7+ are welcome to sign up for our full day session. We happily welcome teenagers to our studio as long as they are aware this is a mixed crowd. We do not separate children by their age, but cultivate a community where the children learn from one another.
We offer many exciting projects for your child to explore tailored each week to the participants attending. For those with some art experience, we will provide more challenging objectives for them to accomplish. The younger individuals will receive the basic objectives to accomplish each art project.  Each week is programmed to the experience of the attendees. This means if your child is attending our camp for 3 weeks, he/she will have three weeks of different projects to complete, and friends to learn from. Many students return each week, and each month, keeping us on our toes with the curriculum and projects.

How many students attend each week?

Our studio places a limit of 23 kids per week (18 kids full day students, 5 half day students) to provide a more concentrated learning experience.

Important Information on Food & Snacks in our studios
Candy, Cookies, Chocolate, and soft drinks ARE NOT healthy snacks and NOT ALLOWED in our studios. These items cause sugar burnout and fatigue. We will take any of these items and throw them out when found. Please respect our request to encourage healthy eating habits in all children.

The children use a lot of brain power during the day and require fruits and veggies to sustain themselves until 430p.  This applies to half-day students as well. Please make sure to pack a healthy lunch and one snack for your child (not included in price).  We provide one healthy snack in the afternoon to your little ones. If your child has specific food allergies, we ask you please send them with two snacks they are able to eat.

Early Drop or Late Pick Up

There is an additional fee of $25 per day / per child for late pick up (5p).  We do not offer Early Drop off at our studios. Doors open at 8a. Please know our staff does not arrive at our studio until 8a, and we leave at 5p. Drop off prior to 8a and pick up after 5p is not an option.

      1. We will show the children how surgeons wash their hands. They will be required to wash their hands in this manner when they arrive, at both snack times, before and after lunch, and for the alternate art hour.
      2. ALL children are required to clean up after themselves following each project. These duties include pick up after each art project, wiping down tables, sweeping, wiping the games they play with, moving tables and chairs for yoga, and lunch, etc.
      3. We will continue to host 23 kids each week at our summer art camp. Each table will have two children to work from each day. We sanitize our studio completely at the end of each day with a combination of Melaleuca Disinfectant and Thieves Multipurpose Cleaner.
